Sæla Sauna brings authentic Scandinavian sauna culture to Newcastle's Ouseburn creative quarter. Set within Cobalt Studios' Backyard, the handcrafted Danish sauna seats ten and features traditional craftsmanship by Scandinavian Sauna. Facilities include cold plunge baths from Chill Tub with built-in filtration and chiller. The name Sæla is Old Norse for happiness. Private and open sessions available with löyly (steam) ritual using ladle and hot rocks.
