Barbossauna is a unique seaside sauna experience housed in a converted horsebox on the stunning Aberdeen beachfront. Founded by Brazilian-born Fabio Barbosa in August 2023, the wood-fired sauna reaches 70-95°C and accommodates up to 6 people. Located just 5 minutes from the city centre, it features a traditional Finnish sauna heated to 90°C, a Brass Monkey cold plunge at 6-8°C, and float therapy rooms with 2m+ high ceilings. Sea Biscuit Sauna is a wood-fired mobile sauna located on the Aberdeen beachfront at the Fittie end. Owned by local wellness advocate Debbie Thornton, it offers fully guided sensory sauna rituals including meditation, aromatic löyly steam with essential oils, traditional vihta whisking with oak and birch branches, herbal tea, body scrubs, and hair oil treatments. A second barrel sauna operates at Calm Space Yurt in Auchnagatt.
