AIRE Ancient Baths Chicago fills a restored 1902 factory in River West with a candlelit thermal circuit modelled on Roman baths: a hot Caldarium, warm Tepidarium, a 57°F Frigidarium and 50°F ice bath, a salt-water Flotarium, a jet bath, an outdoor Palestra bath with waterfall, two aromatherapy steam rooms and a dry sauna. The 90-minute Ancient Baths experience costs $175 per person. Open daily from 8 or 9 AM until 10 or 11 PM.
