Description
Müller'sches Volksbad is Munich's first indoor swimming bath, opened in 1901 in a listed Art Nouveau building beside the Isar. Its sauna area is modelled on ancient Rome: a Roman-Irish sweat bath with warm and hot-air rooms at different temperatures, a steam bath of about 45°C and a Finnish sauna of about 90°C, with hourly Aufguss, a cold pool and a semicircular shower of ten metal pipes. Tuesday is women's day; a four-hour ticket costs 23 EUR.
