The Saunaoase of AquariUSH, the thermal family bath in Unterschleißheim, was redesigned in 2018. Its six sweat rooms are the Bergl-Sauna, an earth sauna built into the hillside, a Finnish sauna, the Sauna Chalet with a panoramic window onto the sauna garden, a stone-pine Zirbensauna, a steam bath and an infrared lounge, plus a cold plunge pool and a small thermal pool fed from a 2,000 m spring. The Olympia-Schwimmhalle, built for the 1972 Games in the Olympiapark, adds a 900 m² sauna complex to its historic 50 m pool. Five sweat rooms include an Inspirations-Sauna of about 80°C, Fitness saunas of about 90°C indoors and 100°C outdoors, a sanarium and a steam bath, and guests cool off in a snow cabin, cold showers and a plunge pool of about 15°C.
